Researchers have found that the daily consumption of Brahmi for six weeks, twice a day, can help you with an enhanced improvement of your cognitive functions. An amount of 2-3g of Brahmi leaves is considered safe for daily intake.

The leaves of Brahmi are mainly used for consumption as it contains a high amount of luteolin, which offers it anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuro-protection properties. The stems are also edible.

While choosing the best Brahmi, you need to ensure that the extract is drawn from leaves only and not roots. Fresh Brahmi leaves usually contain a high chemical balance of healthy nutrients.

When Brahmi is taken along with Ashwagandha, the combination works great in boosting brain activity. But it may interact negatively with certain medications containing amitriptyline.

Aflatoxins are toxic compounds produced by certain fungal organisms, particularly molds, to protect the plant from its own enemies. They are often toxic to humans, with scientific evidence establishing that aflatoxins can cause cancer, liver damage, immune suppression, and reproductive issues. We test for principal aflatoxins wherever there is a need and where mandated in the protocol.
